This presentation will familiarize consultants and producers with the corn disease, Gossís bacterial wilt and blight. This disease has re-emerged in the United States during recent years and become increasingly widespread and important. Research has begun to identify other crop and weed hosts of the bacteria, as well as additional factors affecting disease development. Disease symptoms and diagnosis is discussed in the presentation, as well as management strategies that can be used to mitigate losses due to the disease.
