Summary: This presentation provides an overview of diseases observed in the Southern High Plains during the 2019 growing season, including southwestern cotton rust, Fusarium wilt, root-knot nematode, and Fusarium wilt race 4 (FOV4). FOV4 has only been reported in the El Paso, Texas, area. Details of the diseases are also provided, along with some recommendations for reducing the spread of FOV4 from El Paso to the Southern High Plains.
